Description

In addition to Gacheke’s doshic and pranic journey of Spa therapies, her more recent encounter with Nyeri hard training fitness and strength enthusiasts has inspired her to call in an African massage technique called Ukuchina she learnt in 2006 and 2007 from Traditional Nyanja women of Zambia.
From Ukuchina and as she did with Helena, Gacheke has most recently created Ukuchina Sportsman and its akin Ukuchina Thai. These two in slightly different proportions combine relaxing and releasing Thai yogic stretching, muscle recovery using hot herbal water (ukuchina action), deep tissue work, finishing with herbal steaming. The 4-step process starts on a floor mat, progresses to the massage table and ends in the usual Indian steam box
